BP still fighting Gulf claims settlements….

BP still doesn’t want to pay for nearly destroying the ecosystem of the Gulf of Mexico.

The company agreed to a 2012 court-approved settlement with businesses that were hurt by the 2010 Gulf oil spill, but now BP doesn’t like the size of the claims it’s paying, so it's back in court trying to get off the hook.

And still the BP executives are skating, getting away without any personal accountability….

BP continues to spend big bucks on ads that trumpet BP's phony "commitment" to the Gulf and to the environment in general, and to the people and companies who are still living with the terrible consequences of the 2010 Deepwater spill that contaminated much of the Gulf of Mexico.

BP continues to spend even bigger bucks in court, trying to evade or minimize the "commitments" and avoid forking over lots of cash in claims settlements.

I'm still waiting for the BP perp walk, waiting to find out which BP execs are going to go to jail....

  1. What's your thoughts on EXXON. It took 25 years to build back the sea otter pop. They spent billions same as BP. Saw where Obama referred to the little people...no repercussions like the CEO of BP. Amazing press we have today.
