Well, just move to Arkansas. In The Natural State, you can rest easy among the 1% if you’re bringing home the bacon to the tune of a measly $228,000 a year.
In Connecticut, you need annual income of $678,000 to get into the top bracket.
Here’s another thing: in Connecticut, the average 1 percenter is making 51 times more money than the average person in the bottom 99%.
Some people have too much money.
