But did you know that there are
at least 160 active chapters, under various names, of the Ku Klux Klan?
Only a few states don’t have at
least one. It’s not like the Klan is popular—Vox.com reports that the Southern
Poverty Law Center estimates nationwide membership is roughly 5,000-8,000.
But Vox.com also mentions the
obvious: “the KKK isn't some silly relic of
the past, but still real and potentially dangerous in many places around the
US.”
Of course you know it’s not
over yet.
