graphic map showing what you have to pull down each year to be in the top 1% of
earners in your state.
Connecticut is right up there
at the top: if your household makes at least $642,000 a year, bingo!
In the District of Columbia,
the bar is even higher, at $688,000. Maybe it’s all those hard-working
lobbyists….
At the other end of the
spectrum, try Montana, for a measly $280,000 per annum you too can savor the
other-worldly delight of being in the top 1%.
I guess you can do a lot with a
coupla hunnert thousand in Big Sky country….
