Here’s
a little followup item on the shooting of a young black man in Ferguson, MO:
Since
the cop shot Michael Brown in August, 3,287 citizens of Ferguson have registered to vote.
There are about 16,000 adults in the city, so that means that
20% of the electorate has suddenly signed up to vote.
I
wonder, who are these people who were motivated to register?
I
wonder, how will they vote next April in Ferguson’s municipal elections?
I’m
going to make sure I check it out.
