The personal net worth of all the members of Congress is over $2
billion—that’s an average of almost $4 million each.
Again, that’s an average, but, for the record, more than half of the
members of Congress are indeed millionaires.
Now, most of the time, for most millionaires, it’s not a crime to be a
millionaire.
But let’s just call it like it is: most members of Congress don’t live
in the same world that most Americans live in.
Why do we keep re-electing the people who aren’t really like The
People, and who refuse to do The People’s business?
