A poor kid has to work harder….
….to be a good student.
More than half of public school students in America live in
poverty.
That’s a repugnant reality.
Is this a reality that we can tolerate in America?
Here’s a wish list item for you:
Let’s ask our members of Congress to make a commitment to
create opportunities for the parents of
those kids to raise themselves out of
poverty….
….so the kids can have a decent shot at starting their lives
on the right track.
